FAQ

Can I use my 3D Printer?

The extruder can be attached to almost any 3D printer. Due to the QZMini’s compact dimensions, we recommend using an open-frame FDM machine.

Each printer model requires a specific connector cable and holder to attach the QZMini. For this reason, when purchasing your extrusion, please select your printer model from the dedicated menu.

Should I remove the original extruder from my 3D printer?

No, you don’t have to. The QZMini can be attached to your existing extruder using a customized holder.

Which material can I use with the extruder?

The QZMini is a ram extruder, so the extrusion performance depends on the balance between the material density and the nozzle diameter.
In general, we recommend using materials with a smaller granule size and low to medium viscosity and density. And yes, you can print clay with the QZMini!
