The relationship between the designer and the materials is something intimate, it is a choice dictated by the function but also by the sensitivity of the designer.
With the 3D Printing bio-composite workshop we want to enhance this bond, offering participants the opportunity not only to choose the materials, but to create them and experiment firsthand.
The heart of the workshop will be the use of manual or digital extruders for 3D printing, to work with organic waste materials. This practical approach allows for direct and intuitive experimentation, transforming the design gesture into an almost artisanal act.
Participants will create a mini collection of materials/textures, combining the possibilities of 3D printing with the use of biomaterials of organic origin for multilayered biosurface.
